I got a little daring this time and used hand-dyed leather (first time...VERY nervous), silver hardware, and I just finished installing wheels and a pull handle (not in picture) that I bodged together from a $10 Walmart suitcase. I'm currently designing two storage pockets that will be on either side of the peghead. I could have bought one for less than it took to build this, but hey, we all need a hobby, right?
As soon as some materials come in, I'm starting on my next case: a soft-sided (but rigid interior framework) double mando case, on wheels, with lots of exterior storage.

...and the interior. You can see where the storage compartments will be going.

....as well as the tostitos and hoagie roll in the first picture! Mandolins and food - yum.

just a suggestion, but I would try to put some sort of support under the neck. I have a TKL case and what I did was I cut a piece of ply wood to fit where the neck goes. Then I bought some foam and cut it down to the size and shape I needed the craddle the neck and then glued it to the piece of plywood. Then I put fabric around it to match the inside of the case. So now there is no chance of the neck snaping in the case if accidentally dropped. And it looks quit good as well. Just a thought!
