I just got back from The first ever Blue Grass camp in Hope Arkansas, put on by Joe Carr and his fine faculty. #the group was small due to it being the first year, but I believe I can speak for everyone in saying, "a good time was had by all!" #The facilitees were very comfortable and the spirit with which the cadre conducted the camp was extraordinary! We had great individual instruction and laid back group meetings. #I especially enjoyed the history that came out in our discussions. #I got to play a Gilchrist and a Collings and a few other brands. #I recommend this group of guys highly. #G.B.

That's great George. I am attending Camp Bluegrass in July with Joe and others in Levelland, Texas.

I heard the instructors talking about their camp in Levelland and it sounds great! I plan to attend that one maybe next year. I wish I was going to this one. G.B.

What is life like or those of us at these camps that are not really good pickers? I'd like to, but I'm a little hesitant to take the leap. I go to jams sometimes and I feel pretty much like a redhaired step child. Not that the folks there aren't friendly and helpful, but beause I just cant keep up with most or any of them.

Jim,
No need to worry whatsoever. They have classes and jams for every level.
I was a little concerned last year but realized right away that there was nothing to worry about.
