I reserved my spot at Camp Bluegrass (http://www.campbluegrass.com/home.html) at South Plains College. I spoke with Joe Carr and he said the mando class is almost full.
Is anyone here planning to attend or have attended in the past?

I'm going for the second time. Primarily I'm taking my son in law to "expose" him to some bluegrass bass techniques. You'll like Steve Smith. I don't know the other mandolin teacher. Prepare for some typical school cafeteria food though. see yu there

This will be my second year. Last year, I had Roland White as my instructor for 4 days. :-)
I noticed the daily classes are being trimmed back a little time-wise this year.
jaybee is correct regarding Steve Smith. #The other instructor is Gerald Jones, a good friend of mine. He ain't no slouch either!
Food sucks in the cafeteria but there is a great little snack bar which is open for lunch and they make a killer double cheeseburger!
One great thing are the 3 jams in the evenings. Slow, intermediate and advanced. #You can immediately put to use the stuff you learn earlier in the day.
