X brace- do the feet sit on the braces?

On a guitar the bridge and plate sits between the braces, but on a mando, do they sit ON the braces below the x?

I think the majority will be ON the braces, although there are a lot of variations.

Mine do, They are not on the center of the X but a ways back yet still have contact.
