Last night we practiced "Blessed be the Lord" and it didn't sound right. #Actually it sounded a bit too slow for my taste.

Later last night I got to thinking about it and I remembered back when I first learned this song 23 years ago on the guitar. #When I played this song way back then, I played it in cut time #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif

Could anyone shed any light to this for me?

Thank you http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

If you are talking about the "Blest Be the Lord" by Dan Schutte, which is the one I've played for decades, according to the OCP Guitar Accompaniment Guide, it is in cut time with a half note = 76 bpm.

Does someone have this with the chords listed? We could use this in the worship music @ the sorefront mission in Lowell.

#Thanks!
