After spending a few quiet work days seriously researching this list about right hand technique I had time for a good practice this evening and found massive improvement in tone and confidence. Basically I have learned that as long as the right hand is more or less in the right place, the right bits are moving and above all that I am relaxed and conscious about what is happening, then the rest is up to me... Sounds easy, but I would not have got there without this message board and the fantastic advice and resources.. Oh yes, also youtube for looking at loads of mandolin players!
So, no point or question, but thank you!!!!
