If it's his two pointer is the asymmetrical one

it may look odd upside down. If you dig the Hendrix, upside down vibe then who am I to rain on your parade.
If it's more of his symmetrical shape who would know?

Either way you would need to redo the nut and bridge and not just flip them.
edit: I wasn't going to say it because I feel it's pretty obvious, Andrews work is very, very clean and nice. Beautiful instruments that people rave about sound wise. If this is how you can afford a mando of this class and you love the tone and feel, go for it.

tone is mainly why i'm curious as to how reversing the sound chamber would be.. there is a pic on greg boyds site of a mowry lefty. if you can flip it i think it looks kinda right.. no left.. no i mean right. it looks good !!

Take a look at this (http://www.mandolincafe.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=7;t=45340;hl=lefty+and+webe r) thread regarding a lefty conversion. Out of all of the people the knowledgeable people that posted only one thought there would be a problem. The rest felt it was not an issue.

I think frankenstein is referring to this - not a two-pointer though:
Have you seen the Mandolin Magazine essay on Andrew- top notch!

It will look a little odd to those in the know but heck, in high school I purposely wore two different colored socks every day to bug those that were in the know so have at it my man.

That thing is built left-handed, but the neck and the strings are right-handed! What's up with that?

It's the Jimi Hendrix mandolin look.

oh dang, now I have to go shopping.
It's the asymetrial 2 point. Can't see a reason to convert it to right hand. for $3800 you can get a right hand one built by somebody.
