Howdy all. My wife and I are taking a day trip to Owensboro this weekend to eat the barbeque, shop, and walk around the IBMA museum. Here's my question: can any of you guys suggest a good music store near Owensboro? Espessially a good mandolin store. I like going in all kinds of music stores, pawn shops, etc to see what they got lying around. You can't ever tell what you'll find (I like getting different advice on strings, picks, cases, models, etc. I have never seen any rare finds on instruments yet, butI have learned a lot).
If you know of any that I might be interested in, let me know.
Thanks,
PAUL
ps my 2007 Austin AU657 is working out great. After a little nut/bridge work, it is as true as can be and plays like a dream. Still nothing like the Rigel the guys has, but I don't have the money to sound that good.
