I played 2 in a store and thought "Yuk, no volume, tone stinks" http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

We sometimes replace the "f" in Crafter with a "p." Which tells you something. There are many better ones to choose from.

I had a Crafter acoustic electric mando for a short time. It was quiet and had mediocre tone unplugged. Plugged in, it sounded good.
It had the baby guitar look, and of course, some people thought that is what it was. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif They are okay if you like the look and want to play plugged in.
My wife has an Eppiphone (MM 30E, I think) and it sounds good plugged in and a lot better than the Crafter unplugged.
By the way, Crafter is owned or affiliated with Hohner and they are making some very pretty and fairly nice sounding guitar.
Best wishes.
