What would he wear to the inauguration? I just can't imagine Sam in navy blue suit and striped tie.???

one thing's for certain-the state of the union address would be a heck of a lot more entertaining.

I have Bush in '96 button that a friend brought back from IBMA for me. It has Sam in small letters at the top, "Bush in '96" in large letters in the middle, and "on Sugar Hill Records" in small letters on the bottom of the button. I'm sure this must be a very valuable collectible now and I'm takin' offers!

OK, so who should Sam's running mate be?

I'd go for Mike Compton.

I say Doyle Lawson for VP, he will balance the ticket a bit and attract the conservative right.

I have a retail store just outside of Washington D.C. Often customers try to engage me in political discussions for or against the president. Knowing it is best NOT to to get into a political brawl with my customers, I have for several years now used Sam Bush as a diversion from a potentially volatile situation. This tactic also gives me a chance to talk about one of my favorite topics......Mandolins.

I voted for Sam in '96' and am ready to do it again....:p The world would be a better place. I think we could come up with a whole cabinet for him. I think the head of the Marines should be a b*#jo player.....:D

I'm OK voting for Sam, as he has no G nor W preceding his surname. Besides, it would be kinda cool seeing someone at the inauguration ceremony wearing tie-dye.

What is the average wind-speed velocity of a sparrow?
The more pressing question is, ""What is the air speed velocity of a Northern European sparrow flying west, carrying a coconut, with an Easterly wind of 10 mph?"

Make it a nice one, and not too expensive.

I predict that when G.W. looses the election, he will hop around yelling "It's only a flesh wound!"
Hmm. By the way, doesn't this smiley look a little like G.W.? http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Poplar front? Isn't that old tune called "Hollow Poplar"? (I better mention something relating to mandolin playing here or Scott will snuff our bushy thread. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif
