It looks like Mattel's answer to the Guitar Hero video game craze.

My 6 year old is learning to play his 3/4 size guitar (a 50's Harmony, sunburst), and my 3 year old strums his (open tuned) ukulele. I bet they'd both just crack up if I gave them that thing.
