Hi
I have been trying to find a mandolin tab for Dueling Banjos without success.
Information on other websites suggest that it is not really suitable for the mandolin?
Comments or a link to a site gratefully received.

Of course, the tune "Dueling Banjos," was made famous by the movie "Deliverance." The two things people most remember most about that movie are that tune, and a graphic male-to-male rape scene. So unfortunately, that tune created a permanent, indelible link in the public consciousness between traditional American music and toothless hillbilly sodomy, not an association we all treasure. Why banjo players continue to play it, I don't know, since it was a real public relations nightmare for them, one they still haven't recovered from. I guess that's why they're banjo players, LOL! Why mando players don't play it is simply common sense and good taste!

Jay Buckey has it in his Virtual Band Series Vol 1. (jaybuckey.com) It's under the title "Feudin Five Strings". It sounds pretty good with mandolin and banjo.
