ok, Im a km1000 man myself, so I was subconciously expecting a lot when i played the 750. but, The mandolin has a real good sound for the level mandolin it is. I didnt, however, like the playability of it. To me it seemed to play too much like a 250 dollar mandolin. All in all i think its a fine buy though. And the new chinese model has some pretty nice flame maple on the back.

I have played one and like Seth said the playability wasn't there. Although I had a Kentucky, but I bought it because of the volume the dang thing had. Same problem though, but I fixed that real quick by putting on a new fingerboard(radiused ebony w/ banjo wire) on. That dang thing played quite good after that. I wish I still had it.

The one I've played was complete crap. Sounded, looked and played like crap. Real thin sounding, horible, sloppy finish and played like a truck.
Hope you can get your hands on one before you buy.
