Wish I would have seen this topic.......I looked on Mike's web page, after Maria's heads up in the Symposium thread,
but there was no 7/4 gig listed. Did anyone go?

Sorry that gig never made it to Mike's website. Feel free to email me directly if there are ever any questions about where Mike may be playing. Sometimes it takes a while to update that web page (being at the symposium is a good excuse, right?) I do know that Pablo and Danilo sat in on that July 4 gig. I wish I could have gone.... but I was taking Caterina, Mirko, Marijke and Michiel to the airport. They serenaded me with a rousing rendition of "If You're Going to San Francisco".

the sound board guy was unfortunately a definite clueless yo-yo (how can anyone SO clueless be allowed near expensive equpiment?! ahhhh community festivals in the park can bring certain frustrations) #but if you sat up close enough to hear the acoustic sound from the stage the music was great.

Unfortunately, it happens more often than it should.
