Most of the builders on the board can make you one like you want. I have made some and even have one the building table now, just check the builders list on the cafe for a builder near you.

the only one I ever saw was a lefty Gibson Fern in the classifieds a while back. I agree with Bill, you are going to have to make a custom order if you want something higher than your Eastman.

Gibson, Weber and Collings charge a premium to make a lefty A or F, I think that means that there are very few of those made since most of the smaler builders don't charge a premium. That, combined with the fact that lots of lefty's have learned to play righty due to the lack of choice in instruments makes them rare.
NFI, but Bill Bussmann does give a $1 discount to leftys as a natural one himself. Also, Bill Pruitt seems to like making leftys on spec. What ever you decide, your probably looking a some waiting time.

Check out the lefty Mowry mandolins under the subject "A few new Mowrys" in the "Post a Picture.." section. If I were a lefty looking for a quality instrument, I would definitely be in touch with Mr. Mowry.

Place an ad in our Looking To Buy classifieds. You might wait awhile, but it's worth a try.
