I can tell you that fatt-dad also has one. I bought mine last year. It is solid wood with spruce top and maple sides and back. It's made in Japan and I think that it was made in the same shop as Ibanez at the time, based on the markings on the tailpiece cover.
My Yasuma was a great value for the money and plays real good for the pac-rim mandolin that it is. Let's say it another way, I got much more for my money on it than I several similarily spec'd Kentucky, Ibanez, are Alvarez mandolins.
The greatest story of my Yasuma was its arrival to my house. The pawn shop that I bought it from just taped the case with Priority Mail tape, affixed a label and mailed it as is - no box, no peanuts, no nothing. Having seen several boxes arrive in the mail, my wife was sure surprized to see the bare case handed over by the mailman.
I suspect that you have a nice solid wood a-model f-hole mandolin with the neck joint at the 12th fret. That is what mine is and it is also marked YM-130. Let me know if you learn more.
