Dean Markley Artist pickup

I have seen lots of threads on pickups, but have not seen any comments on this one. Was at Guitar Center and stuck a Dean Markley Artist Transducer pickup on the front of my Japanese KM-750. The pickup is about the size of a quarter.

I was very surprised at the quality of the sound, without a preamp, and for only $45!

Anyone else try this pickup? Opinions?

I have a Dean Markley Acoustical Transducer Kit,new,The package had been opened so I could take a picture of it.It was sold to another member,but he never sent payment for it.I will take 25.00,and that includes shipping.Let me know if your interested.I will also trade for mandolin instructional dvd's and video tapes.Thanks...Bill
