Hello all, I have a mandolin made by Albert Shutt back in the teens. I have had a hard time getting much information about these. Anybody have any good leads? I have searched the boards here....

The one I have needs some work before it can be played - what little I can pluck around on it sounds most excellent! Anyone here ever played one?

Any information welcomed.

Mike

Lowell Levinger would be the guy I'd recommend, his website is http://www.vintageinstruments.com
