In the market for a Calton case, who has bought one and where to get the best price?
Thanks in advance http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

Another vote for Tony Williamson...www.mandolincentral.com
If you're not picky about colors, he sometimes has a couple in stock.

I don't know who the chepest dealer is but I bought my calton delux brand new With Hygrometer, sholder stap, all locking latches.... the full nine yards new from Josh Pinkham at Merle Fest. He won it placing 3rd in the contest again! Anyway he give me the deal of a lifetime at $260.00!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't expect to find one for that price though. (oh yeah "it ok to be jealous")

I talked to someone at the beginning of the year when I got mine (from Carmel), who would order them for around 250-260 ... delivery was not quick, but the price was great. I will have to look up the name and will post it later.

Folks, just FYI, Calton sent out letters to dealers and luthiers late January that due to the devalued American dollar the prices were raised in February by 20%. That will be reflected in the retail prices you find . First Quality used to sell them for $365. plus $45. shipping. You most probably won't see prices like that for the DeLuxe version anymore.

I got my custom from Greg Boyd House of Music. It was as good as Janet Davis and other internet sites and it was in stock, no wait.
