I have an earlier Freshwater without any inlay on the headstock. Does anyone have suggestions as to where to look for resources to do some custom inlay on my headstock for me? #I live in the San Francisco Bay Area (in Oakland), and would prefer to have it done locally, but I would be willing to ship if need be.
(I am thinking of a Celtic knot or something along that line.)

Are you sure you don't mean Dave Nichols at Custom Pearl Inlay (http://www.chazy.net/CPI/CPI.htm)?

..I second FrenchGuys choice...Tom Ellis is the man who cuts all of Gibsons inlay work including the Fern and the Master Model....I ordered some great looking abalone from him to make a truss rod cover...great stuff, great service and turn around..here is his email addy ellisppi@sbcglobal.net hope this helps...
