Surely the red/pink thing isn't what it appears to be

You mean it isn't a flashlight? That's what it appears to me to be.
The cloth thing that looks like a pair of socks is probably somebody's cloth for wiping off their mandolin. Otherwise, I see somebody's watch and a pair of glasses, a chapstick, two bowls of snacks/candy, a music book, and 3 bottles of beer. Can't ID the rest.

Hmmmm, plenty of beer bottles, a flashlight, a couple of bowls. Chapstick. Glasses.

I see what looks like a bottle neck slide in the shadow of the larger bowl and a watch under the glasses. Wonder what those red disks are... and the piece of chrome between the slide and the watch.
Anyone else notice the third mando in the picture?
I wonder what it's like having the minutae of your daily existence discussed in a world-wide public forum.

That looks just like the flashlight I used to have in college! Makes a nice combo with a frisbee. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

The red disks are bottle caps from the beers. #Still haven't figured out the dark item to the right of the small white bowl and the silver item to the right of the chapstick on top of the magazine. #The second item kinda of looks like the dark part might be a screen, so maybe its a cell phone or small digital camera.

Can't be any worse than letting people see that we have nothing better to then to discuss someone's daily existence in a world-wide public forum. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
and this has to do what with mandos?http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif?
Wellll....,conversely.., the scene IS centered 'round mandolin "players", ain't it... http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Naaah, the dark thing to the right of the small white bowl is eyeglass case. See the clip?
The chrome thing is the bottle opener!
On the magazine... I dunno, but it looks like one of those mini tuner/metronome things to me. I dont think its a digicam (I could be wrong tho).
On looking longer, I think its a metronome. They're playing to the beat and being timed (hence the watch off).
Not sure if thats a slide behind the bowl. There's chips in the bowl... hmmm

I don't think that's a chapstick. It's a blistex.

Very interesting Lamp, back in corner by the harp. Some photo albums under that stand in corner. School dictionary under table. What the heck is that, on the floor, behind the floor duct?
How 'bout them high waters! heh heh

Are you sure that the red thing is a flashlight? It looks too big for AA's, and too small for C's. It is twice the length of the Blistex, and the same diameter as the beer bottle neck.
