My band is going to be going through Santa Fe and Albuquerque in the Fall on the way to a show in Arizona and I'd like to book a show in one of these places on the way. Does anybody here know of any venues that support acoustic music in these places? Or people to contact about getting booked? Thanks a ton folks.

Check out Stella Blue in Albuquerque. They might be able to accomodate you.

Stella blue was fun. The Paramount in Santa Fe has two rooms. One night I was there and Tim Reynolds was in one room and Disco Biscuit (sp) was in the other. You might also try contacting the College of Santa Fe. I used to book live performances there when I was in attendance. In the summer the Paolo Soleri is great, but probably more than you would need (first place I saw String Cheese years ago). Santa Fe's great because you can play just about anywhere and people will come find you. I'd seriously look into the Paramount second room though. They get lots of jam type acoustic acts through - Leftover Salmon, etc.

Hey, you could get in touch with the band "Mary and Mars".

They are a trio (mando, guit, bass) from Santa Fe. #I just saw them recently here in northern AZ. #They are fun, good players, and real nice to talk with.

Dont' even get me started raving about the mando/singer/bass gal. #Whew!

You should be able to find their website.
