I am travelling with work to the Mentor/Concord/Painesville area on a fairly regular basis lately, and was hoping there might be a stocking mandolin dealer somewhere in the area (about 45 minutes east of Cleveland). I don't golf, which is the primary leisure activity in the area, so it would be nice if I could find a mandolin shop with a decent variety of brands/models in stock in case I have any downtime after work.

Woodsys is in Kent ohio. That's probably about 45 min drive south of painsville. Last time I was there they had a few Webers, mid mo's, mk's, Fender's. Had one collings that had a sweet sound to it.Don

Unfortunately I live in the mando deprived northeast Ohio area. There's a nice store in Middlefield, just south of that area named Little Mountain Music, very nice owner, bluegrass oriented store with a few mandos.

And while you're in Kent, Mad Dawg, you should check out The Numbers Band. #The act has been running for 34 years now, and, as I recall from my college days, there are few musical experiences as perpetually transcendental as experiencing The Numbers Band's last set of blues on a Saturday night. #
