well, ive been in southern india for 7 months at school and realized i hadnbt logged in once, so just saying im still about and playing mando and all.
ive put some songs up on Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/mandobaron) and hoed some of you may have a look. they are pretty rough, but ill be updating them from time to time.
feel free to tell me what im doing right or wrong.

Wow, you sound pretty good to me! I can't believe you're only 18. When I was 18 I think I was trying to learn "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath on my Harmony electric...<<sigh>>

It's Dean...your old banjo-playing band-mate. Glad to hear that everything's going well. I'll take a look at your 'my space' page when I get home - I'm at work right now. It's Valentine's Day here and we're having a blizzard.
Spring Creek made it through the festival ok in August. We had a couple of benefit things in the fall. We got a New Year's Eve gig in Bethel that was lots of fun and paid well, too. Your friend, Jeff Lewis, is going to Gould Academy now, and he stopped in at the beginning of our first set...he left after 3 or 4 songs, so I don't know what he thought.

hey, its great to hear from you. i miss playing bluegrass, there isnt much of it here. yeah, i hear the weather is nuts at the moment. glad to hear spring creek it doing well. hopfully we can jam some when i get back.
as for the india question, im in kodaikanal, a 12 hour overnight train from chennai. feel free to stop in, ill take you out for some good food.
