Rigel (http://www.rigelmandolin.com/This%20week.html)

Looks like snow camouflage! Be careful when taking your mandolin skiing!
Is the Desert Camo mando next?

I'm up here in Sonoma County dairy (and wine)country, and that looks like a cow to me.

They could have sold them at Gateway computer stores, if they weren't closing them all!

Rather odd.
(that's pretty strong, coming from a guy like me who is both fan of Rigel AND strange color...)

I gotta agree with Ben, it looks more like camo than a varmit... I guess that is the sister to Neals "maple leaf" mando.

I dunno, that mando would probably be a hit here in Wisconsin! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

You can put that thang in the milk barn and a Holstein cow might try to get it to nurse.

All of these oddly colored mandos remind me of bad heavy metal guitars of the 80s!! The Rigel with "horns" only makes this comparison even more accurate!!

I like the blue and the killer bee, but I suspect most people would look at the "painted pony" and wonder why there pictures of horse heads on that cow mandolin ;)

I like the Rigel Blue & Green & Red, I bought a red one - looked to me to be candy apple red, It reminded me of my youth and I loved it but I had to call it Wine colored to sell it to someone younger than me. I am glad Rigel is not stuck in the past and has had success being innovative. Good Luck to them!

It's on an online dealer's website now listed as the "tolkien burst". I'm a tolkien fan, but...
