OK I already posted this, but perhaps under the wrong section. I am unfortunately trapped in Florida and cannot get may hands on a mando to try it out, but am considering either a Pomeroy or Capek. Any advice? I would be open to other suggestions I have around 3500 to spend.

If I were buying sight unseen at that price, I would go with a Collings MF. They have a great reputation for consistent quality and they are great, great mandolins, immediately available.
