Wow. igracemusic is amazing -- to have lead, capo, chords, samples, etc...! Is there an equivelent w/ old time or bluegrass? Tell me there is.

We were singing this in church one Sunday and I noticed that the hymnal listed it as an ancient Irish tune. I came right home and remembered enough to get started. I like to play it a little faster and more as a dance tempo than the more ridgid hymn version.

The hymnal in the back of the pew in front of you is a great source of tunes, a lot of fun to play.

you should be able to plunk around in first position and figure out the tune. hymns are great practice for this and once you learn 2 or 3 you can usually pick up tons more by listening

also, if your church has a ccli licence & you are a member of the choir, praise team, worship band, whatever, see if they will give you a password for songselect. and if they arent a member of ccli they should be. it is the christian music licensing agencey that keeps a church legal.
