..this may have been covered in the past and I may have missed it and Im sorry if it has. But..just how many pounds of pressure is on the top when a mando is fully strung up and tuned to standard pitch?

It varies but I believe 20-25#s.
The downward force on the top is directly proportional to the sine of the string break angle over the bridge. #For for a set of J74s, which have a total tension of about 182#s when tuned to pitch, and with a 15 degree break angle, we have 182 * sin 15 which is just over 47#s.
