I noticed three Colling in the classified, it could be the tax man or i could be MAS but they all look like good deals.
I love my MF5 and would only consider trading for the special something.Januray is the month for shopping but as for now
(maybe never again) not for me.

Please don't post anymore photos of a Red Diamond mandolin, as my MAS is going to kick in again. Anytime I see a photo of a Red Diamond mandolin, I have to wipe the drool off my chin. Don builds some beautiful mandolins.

That is what I had to sell two Collings mandolins to get. Not that the Collings weren't any good, but my wife said the value of my mandolin collection couldn't exceed the value of our home!

What was a great sueprise was a Merlfest I sat with Don,his wife and son during most main stage performances in the evening. I what he callled was his version of a LOAR, I still think of that mandolin.Who ever bought one last summer may have it.

Rick, that may be this one, since it was dated November, 2005. He's been taking it to shows and such for people to try out. I think it sounds pretty darn Loarish.
