Roo straps

Any one know where I can buy braided kangaroo straps? They are made by David Hines.Our own Alan Neiderland used to sell them but is no longer in the business. Does Carmel Music still carry these? Any info appreciated. Thanks!

I just Googled Kangaroo mandolin strap and Greg Boyds came up on top.

AlanN on the board makes the nicest I've ever seen. I don't know if he has them made up, or if he is making them anymore, but you might PM him and see. It's a fantastic strap. Highly recommended.

Shhhh. CA has a ban on roo products. Ever since Jack in the Box got turned in for using Aussie meat aka roo, CA placed a ban on all roo. A little history for the young ones, that is why Mac's says 100% American beef on the wrapper.
The best boots are made out of roo, I have had to have them delivered to NV or AZ and then pick them up myself.

I got one of the straps from Carmel Music a couple of years ago, and I think its great. Remarkably strong for it's size and weight.

I bought a couple of the Hines Roo straps at IBMA last fall. I think I got them at John Liddy's booth.

Best strap I've ever had, gave the 2nd as a Christmas gift.
