I'd just like to announce my Mandolin Distressing Service. Just send me your Gibson Master Model, Montelone, Gilchrist, Dude or Nugget and I will personally abuse it, with loving care, for less than half of what the big guys charge! Leave it with me for a couple of months, and it will look like you have actually "paid your dues," whether you can play a note or not! Why let your valuable instrument languish when it could be gaining value as a beat-up relic? Just look at Bill Monroe's mandolin. Distressed to the max and worth over a million bucks. Coincidence? I think not...

You should sell your services on ebay. Or better yet get you a sweet union job over in China distressing their Gibson killers. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
