Can anyone recommend a first class guitar message board? I'm especially interested in blues guitar.

The "Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum" seems pretty good. I haven't been there much, but it seems very much like the Cafe' message board. They don't just talk about Martin guitars, from what I can tell.

Johnny's right. UMGF even has a blues section that you should find helpful.

This used to be known as the Taylor guitar forum. It's pretty active and covers mucho stuff outside of guitar talk, also. I don't pay much attention to blues, so I don't know how much there is there.

I know of the Ovation fan club web, the Tacoma fan club forum, Martin has one, Taylor has one but they threatened to sue if people said their stuff was bad (ie, the new pickup system they're having much trouble with), there is the Telecaster page, which is quite good, ditto the Stratocaster page. I'm sure there are more.

There is also the general and broadly attended G-Net (http://www.guitarists.net/forum/). I read and post in the classical section on occasion. The site seems to be mostly populated by heavy-metal-lovin' youth.

I'm surprized nobody has mentioned Acoustic Guitar Central at http://www.acousticguitar.com/ which has forums for many aspects of guitar plying and a luthier's board as well.

The Telecaster Discussion Page (TDPRI) is excellent, if twang is your thang.

There is also the Fender Discussion Page www.fenderforum.com which has sections for Tele, Strat, Guild, Gretsch, other acoustic instruments, etc.
