Frequent poster and friend of the cafe Doug Edwards lost his mother to a long illness today. I am sending my prayers to him and his family. This holiday season make sure and tell those who you love , that you love them!
Life is a precious thing.

Doug just built me two ebony armrests a couple of weeks ago. He had told me his mother was in bad health. He's such a super nice guy to deal with.
Sorry to hear about your loss, Doug. I'll definitely continue to keep your family on my prayer list.

Doug - I'm joining in with all our other Cafe' friends offering prayers and sympathies for you and your family. #Know your mother is in a better place, smiling down on you and yours. #
I lost my Grandfather on Christmas Day - a few years after my Grandmother was killed the week between Christmas and New Years. #(She was struck while they were walking across the street back to their home from their church, no less...) #
We simply figured God called him home to be with Grandma on Christmas. #God has called your mother home for Christmas to be with Him as well.

Mom's not longer hurting. She's had a very tough time the last three years and been in the hospital the last two months.
