Has there been any plan for a Mandofest in Lawrence in 2007?

No Mandofest in sight as far as I can see, ever. After 13 years of it we decided there just wasn't the support in terms of audience and people willing to help us run it. It had become a burden. That coupled with being in the middle of nowhere and all the work it took, it was no longer fun and that was a collective decision among the four of us that have run it all these years. There are other things to do to satisfy our artistic desires and we've decided that remaining friends and moving on to those activities was more important than trying to run a mandolin festival.
