Grandads mandolin 1

Hi I am trying to find information about a old mandolin left to me by my grandfather. It has a round back, the name 'Herniga' written on the front and 'Marcelli' inscribed on the metal tail piece. Appreciate any info you may have on this.

I believe "Herwiga" is a German mandolin brand.
