I found tonal nirvana in a slightly used Tweed ST- 6V6se. #It is a hand wired, point to point little 5 watt, eight inch Weber speaker, all tube wonder (tube power, pre-amp, and rectifier)that is based on the Fender Champ circuit. #After trying the Fender Pro Junior, Tweed Blues Junior, Epiphone Valve Junior, Fender Bassman and a few other amps, I am completely satisfied. #Just wonderful. #Believe it or not, of the above listed amps, I thought the second best for my mandolin was the Epiphone Valve Junior. #A real nice amp for the money, easy on the back, plenty loud and had better clarity than the two expensive Fenders (Pro Junior and Blues Junior). #I purchased my Swart used for a $100.00 more than a Guitar Center Tweed Blues Junior. #Anyway, check out Swart amps. #I am sure to have more to say after I pick my jaw up from the ground.
