Maybe I should have posted this here. What aftermarket replacemant tuners would you guys recommend for a Gibson A40 of late 50's to 60's vintage? Thanks in advance. Lp

I have a Breedlove with A style tuners. I just replaced the original tuners with Schaller's and I'm very happy with them.

The Soybean plastic knobs went crumbly on mine. NOW I see replacement buttons.
If I knew then , what I know now, I'd speak better Swedish.

I think the stock tuners on that mandolin were the closed Kluson jobs, which had a small hole to put a drop of machine oil inside. Bernunzio may have a spare set.
