I guess I've hit a dry spell at the moment, because it would seem I've hit a milestone in my mandolin playing and learning.

Over the last seven months, I'm sure I've bored to death the owners and regular contributors with my typical "newbie" questions, which I'm sure these folks have seen time and time again.

Yet they all remained (most of them) patient with me, as I brought them again down the same paths they respond to day after day.

So "Kudos" to them, for their patience and their "hang in there" approach!! Now it's time for me to just 'practice, practice, practice' and enjoy.

I'm sure I'll be back when I have something I'm wondering about and looking for thoughts on, but until then, I'll leave the expert answers to the folks in here who are far more advanced on the Mandolin than I.

Tata for now, all......

Don't drift too far away Soupy - you'll always find something not only educational on the Cafe', but also just things of general interest! (Like comments on performances in various towns across our fruited plains and so on.)
Hang in there! Cheers! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

If you're afraid of boring the regulars with something that's too often addressed, don't forget the search feature. You often can find pages upon pages of whatever you're looking for, but first you have to use it.
