I just picked up the Live at Bean Blossom recorded in Sep. of '99. JD and the boys are on it with Your Love is Like A Flower and Train 45. Dwight McCall is in a picture in the liner notes, but with absolutely no disrepect intended to Mr. McCall, I don't think it's him playing the mando on Your Love is Like a Flower, for sure, and maybe even Train 45.

Does anyone here know for sure? It's drivin' me nuts.

I haven't seen that cd in several years, but think it would be Dwight playing the mandolin.

That was Dwight 7 years ago. He's better than that now.
I remember when Chris Thile could barely get through "Old Joe Clark" the 2nd part. Don't we all get better over time? I know I do.
