Just a heads up concerning mando content on the new DVD "Phil Lesh & Friends: Live at the Warfield" (released 10-31-06).

Larry Campbell (http://members.cox.net/larrycampbell2000/bio.htm), who recently has played with Bob Dylan, plays his F9 mandolin on the first track of the DVD, Uncle John's band, the opener for the second of three long sets that night. It sounds great. Although he played his Sobell octave and the F9 at other moments in the first set, they aren't on the DVD.

Anyways I have been enjoying this DVD a lot. John Scofield is very impressive on guitar as well.
