brand of mandolin?

i'm doing another watercolor painting (i posted one on here a couple of months back and got some nice comments) and on the headstock is a large A with an equally large upside down A with some scroll inlays between them.....
i probably should know but what brand of mandolin is this?

Probably an Alvarez.
