I love the look of a one piece back on a mando and have seen a few people making them. #I haven't heard any discussion as to why people prefer one over the other. #Any thoughts?

Every now and then I've heard the argument that a one-piece back is better able to transmit lows - -but most folks seem to think there's no tonal difference. My opinion is that if it makes any difference at all, it's WAY down the list of importance in factors influencing bass response and tone in general.
