Best bridge up grade?

I need to change the bridge and nut on my gibson A9, what is the the best bridge up grade and what kind of nut blank should i buy for my luthier to put in for me?

I had the bridge on my rigel replaced with a Steve Smith (Cumberland Acoustic) bridge. Can't say enough good things about it. It evened out the tone across the strings and just sounds better. It's probably an unfair comparison seeing how the A Nats came stock with a $10 bridge.
