Eastman md 515 vs morgan monroe mms-8w

So i'm looking to buy my first mandolin, and after reading around for a few months and playing on a few have really narrowed it down to these two. I was just curious as to see what you guys thought would be the better instrument? I'd be getting both for around the same price as well.

I'd get the Eastman. I haven't played an MM that I cared for, but had an Eastman that I wish I still had.

I played a Morgan Monroe and thought it was as good as the gibson f-5g that i played.I've heard that the Eastmans beat Morgan Monroe like a red headed step kid on the 4th of July.

P.S.beat it like a red headed step kid on the 4th of July is something that my friend made up
