So I headed over to my guitarists house for an afternoon of practice yesterday. We got a lot or good work done on some new songs and where taking a break. He asked me to help him find something in his closet. He proceeded to dig to the back of the closet - pulling out over 15 guitars stored back there. I thought he was going to end up in Narnia! At the very back - he pulled out a dusty case that hadn't seen the light of day in 20 years. Inside was a bazuki his father had given him YEARS ago.
He handed it to me and said "It's all yours". WOW! What a great gift!
The tuners are rusted and I have some work to do to make it playable - but I now have a BAZUKI!
I walked in the house and my wife just rolled her eyes. hehe. I'm just so happy to get a suprise like this from a friend I had to tell you guys!
Question - where does this instrument fit into jams and in what capacity? Strum it? Chomp it? Solo? Chords?
