I got my eastman 605(2)#333 about a month ago and I am forever enamored by the nature of the mandolin. I have to give credit and thanks to this forum and all the invaluable information I have assimilated here.
I have played guitar for 15+ years, along with some harmonica and banjo but, none seem to have the ring and fun of this new found freind. When I first recieved my mando I was amazed by the vibration and lively sound when I strummed some chords. I am grateful to this forum for pointing me in the right direction and providing guidance on instuments and musical knowledge as I em-bark (chop, chop) on a new musical journey. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif
