I am looking for a mandolin tutor somewhere between Lafayette, IN and Indianapolis, IN or in that vicinity. If anyone here is a tutor (or knows of one) in that area please let me know.

Banjo Player,
There is a small group of mostly mandolin players in Indianapolis, we are called the Mandolindy. ()Check out our web site at www.mandolindy.com. We meet twice a month at 3030 E. Kessler Blvd (a church, use the entrance from the main parking lot on the north side of the building) in Indianapolis. Our meetings are on the second Tuesday at 6:30 and the fourth Sunday at 2:00. We play fiddle tunes mostly at these meetings, then wrap up the last half hour with a "rehearsal" of our set pieces. We would enjoy having you stop by, bring your banjo if you want to play, and someone there will be glad to help you out on mandolin.
