A comission for the guy who didn't win the last one I put on Ebay.

Walnut back & sides, rosette, & neck

Spruce top (from Stewmac)

Rosewood fingerboard & binding

Maple purfling

Bone nut

Gibson style tailpiece from Chopper's Music on Ebay

Bridge is a Shadow Piezo pickup supplied by the customer

Tuners from Stewmac.

Jack/strap button is a switchjack from Stewmac

Finish is Danish oil. 4 coats, rubbed on, rubbed off, no wax.

The new one is the top one here with it's chubbier older brother.

Actually, I like it. I was going to comment on the similarity to this (http://www.tiendaslatinas.com/centrocomercial/product_info.php?products_id=6542&osCsid=2ccd8fa03d7910948f78678aab4d521c), but I was afraid that I was going to sound like I was accusing you of copying. I guess that I will just come out and say that I think it is a case of parallel design.

Any chance you could fit 7 more tuners onto yours? This is my planned next acquisition, but if you can get the additional strings onto yours, I might be tempted.

Parallel design?

Naw, I just wanted a mando that wouldn't slide off my knee and I like the shape of a guitar!!

all that carving an F was way too much like hard work, and 15 strings? Naw that's just overkill!!
