Anyone have a picture of a Verey, Versai, or however to spell the round disk with the two "C" cuts for resonance, in a Loar?

Is it true this sonic enhancement came to fruition after World War I, when the Allied Forces and the German Empire signed the Treaty of Virzi in Paris, 1919?

Here's (http://www.thefishnet.com/makemandolin/page5.htm) one going in one of Thile's Dudes. He later had a virzi-ectomoy, from what I hear. Conventional vizdom says they sound better in oval holes.

Many threads here on the cafe if you search on virzi. I speak my piece about them in the loarfest panel audio clips currently hosted on the cafe front page

I think before they appeared in mandolins, the Virzi brothers were placing their Tone Producers in violins.
