Does anyone here know of a good service person for a long scale (glued on bridge, flat top) bouzouki? It seems that mine (just acquired) needs just a bit more than a setup - probably some neck to body reinforcement (quick diagnosis from Stefan over in the UK). The bridge may need regluing (coming up just a little bit). The fretboard may need to be leveled after all of that and then the relief adjusted. I'd love to have suggestions so I can follow up and find someone qualified to do the work. I'm not in a hurry but want to get it done well....

I've posted on CBOM and I have a few suggestions from there. Stefan is inquiring from his end. I'd prefer a repair shop in or near California so I don't have to ship it, but I am willing to consider shops further from my home and the corresponding shipping. Any help appreciated.

I take all of my vintage instruments (and my newer ones also) to Gryphon in Palo Alto. They aren't cheap, but you can trust them to do it right.

I second Gryphon, Frank Ford is there.

Thanks for the tips, I actually was thinking about Frank up at Gryphon. I also had Paul Hostetter recommended by Stefan Sobell and a number of others. Michael Lewis also comes recomended on these instruments. I am going to check first with Paul, he's not far from my place (a pleasant 3 hour drive...)
